Since Nigeria’s independence in 1960, our country has been developing across various sectors, driven by citizens committed to creating value. Regardless of how small their contributions may have been, they have collectively propelled us toward a more advanced and civilized nation today. It is essential to recognize that it is now our turn to create value as we live and work.

This Summit was conceived after a thorough study and firsthand experience of business challenges in our country, as well as the concerns of Government-certified credible Chinese investors seeking to enter the Nigerian market. As a result, our company has taken the initiative to develop solutions that align with the demands of this new era of high-speed technology while supporting our country’s foreign investment and development policies. At the same time, we aim to create industrialization opportunities for our people.

Over the past six years, we have established a strong partnership with esteemed Chinese investors under the One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative. This collaboration has led to a major project focused on developing six state-of-the-art sugar and food processing zones across Nigeria, in partnership with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

The upcoming China-Nigeria Sugar and Food Economic and Trade Summit is a strategic event designed to foster collaboration, investment, and innovation in various business sectors, particularly in the sugar industry between China and Nigeria.

We are especially grateful to His Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, for his visionary leadership in steering Nigeria toward joining BRICS.
