Climate Change Mitigation

JOERNO is in active partnership with GEOBJECTS Pty. Australia;  an environmental analytics company that has developed a proprietary software for climate change mitigation and a carbon emission trading scheme. In 2019, Joerno in partnership with Federal Ministry of Environment organized the first ever Climate Change stakeholders’ forum in Nigeria. Presentations have been made to the African Union (AU), Economic Community of West Africa (ECOWAS) towards the deployment of an African Carbon Trading Scheme for the benefit of Africa member states. Presently, active work and collaboration is underway for the pilot schemes in Nigeria and Liberia.
